24-HOUR RECEPTION

At Casa Santa Sofia, 24 hours a day, you will find friendly, experienced and multilingual staff.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate plan terms & conditions, check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is by 11:00 a.m.  The property may accommodate late check-out after 11:00 a.m. for an additional fee; subject to room availability.

BREAKFAST

Delightfully homemade, our baker’s cakes and delicacies enlighten the breakfast ritual every morning. We offer Italian espresso coffee in a variety of blends from Rome's famous Danesi coffee roasters, fresh high-quality milk, soya milk, and a wide range of teas. For your Healthy Breakfast you will find fresh in season fruit, juices and fruit and vegetables smoothies, a wide range of breakfast cereals, jams and organic yoghurt. For those who love the classic English breakfast, we dedicated an area of the buffet to savory foods, with vegetables, cheeses, cold meats, and a complete menu containing egg-based recipes. Discover the care and creativity that distinguish us.

ROOF-TOP WINE BAR
(Seasonal from April 1 till October 31, 15:00 to 23:00 PM)

A fun, upbeat, and eclectic atmosphere overlooking Rome’s oldest historic district Monti and the Suburra.  Try one of 75 different wines by the glass paired with local bites and the freshest cuts of Italy’s finest Prosciutto, Bresaola, and fabulous cheeses.  A unique experience by all accounts.  Guests can access the roof top bar via a special elevator exclusively from the ground floor near reception.  Space is a premium so it is recommended to book in advance. 

MANET MOBILE COMPANION
The Manet Companion provided for your convenience is the smartphone located in your room providing both in-room and off-property internet connectivity including detailed tourist content, access to purchase additional services such as tickets, audio guides, tours, or use it as an internet hotspot for your other devices for a low fee. The phone includes free browsing and phone calls both locally and internationally on the device. You can use it to call room to room as well even when you aren’t on the property or call the property itself. Any android programs can be loaded onto the phone while you are using it, feel free to use it to watch Netflix or play your favorite game.

FRANZ JOSEPH ROOM

Franz Joseph's room is a lounge area on the 0th floor of Casa Santa Sofia. There is a soft corner and comfortable conditions for communicating with friends, watching television programs or working. The room is decorated with an ancient portrait of the Emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Franz Joseph I, presented to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.

LUGGAGE

A luggage cart is available on the 3rd floor near the elevator.  The property also has a luggage deposit where you can store your bags upon check-out for up to 24 hours. Additional days can be purchased for storing luggage at reception pending available space. 

WI-FI

Take advantage at any time of our wireless high-speed broadband internet connection throughout the property. Log in using the information on your reception card. The service is free while you are a guest at the property.  

SAFE

The safe has an electronic combination. The safe is large enough to accommodate laptops, and other electronic devices. The power outlet in the safe is not connected for charging your devices inside. If you have items of significant value that you may not feel comfortable storing in the room, please ask the manager on duty about storing them in the property safe. 

MINI-BAR & SNACKS

In your mini-bar, you will find chilled drinks. Have a look at the price list. The drinks will be charged on your final bill.

WASHING FACILITIES & PRESSING

Wash & dry cleaning of your clothing items are available every day except Sundays. The items will be given back to you within 48 hours. The laundry bag and price list can be found on the shelf in the closet. An iron & board is available on each floor. 

BABIES & CHILDREN

For our guests who travel with small children, cribs are available pending availability at an extra charge per night. Depending on your room type, a roll-away bed may also be supplied upon request at an extra charge per night. Supplementary accessories, including diapers and baby wipes are available for purchase upon request. Please contact reception for pricing and availability.  

PETS

Pets of any kind are not allowed at the property.  Service dogs are welcome. 

PARKING

The property is located in the ZTL zone of the Monti district. This means that between the hours of 06:00 – 18:00 only specially licensed cars and taxis are able to access the zone. If you are planning to visit the property by car, contact us for further information in order to avoid penalties.

BIKES

Bike with style, the best and most practical way to move around the city. Our property offers free bike rental service. Ask at the reception for more information. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Public transportation is the suggested method of moving around Rome. The metro station is located at the end of Via Leonina on the opposite side of the square from the property. The closest bus stops are located on Via Cavour. Tickets are available for sale at reception as well as timetables. We remind passengers to remain vigilant while riding public transportation as pick-pockets and thieves are known to frequent such locations and target tourist.

At our reception desk you will find free city maps, and information regarding excursions and recommended sights.  Your Manet handset also has audio guides for sale as well as options for booking sights around Rome.

An elevator is available on all residential floors of Casa Santa Sofia.

CLEANING ROOMS

The maids of Casa Santa Sofia clean guest rooms daily.
